In this context the Martin Institute hosts a series of Globalization lectures in partnership with the College Honors Program, Campus Ministry, and the Cornerstone Program Lab. The Globalization program of the Martin Institute at Stonehill College investigates into how the processes of modern globalization affect the political, economic, legal, and cultural structures of nations and societies.
Following the invitation of Claus Dierksmeier, distinguished professor of globalization ethics at Stonehill College and the Humanistic Management Center's Academic Director, Ernst von Kimakowitz gave a public lecture in February 2011, presenting Humansitic Management in Practice, the first book in the Humanism in Business book series at Palgrave Macmillan. Provided with such a desirable setting within a highly prestigious institute Ernst von Kimakowitz introduced the conceptual foundations of Humanistic Management and demonstrated its practical dimension by highlighting select case examples from the book.
