Course Conference on Impact Investing

This two day event marks the closing block of the first time we have offered this course at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. It is currently held during the spring semester of 2015.

The theme of Impact Investing has gained substantial momentum in both, finance and social entrepreneurship communities over recent years. In addition student demand for course offers as well as supervision of theses on Impact Investing has risen steeply. The University of St. Gallen is actively responding to this demand by offering courses on related topics.

This course, titled Impact Investing: Redefining the Meaning of Return represents one of these offers and is taking place in March and April 2015 at Master level in the contextual study program of the University of St. Gallen.

To complement and consolidate classroom based learning, the group has the opportunity to meet and discuss with Impact Investing practitioners. Hosted by UBS, Jaume IglÃ©sies of UBS Values Based Investing as well Natija Dolic of LGT Venture Philanthropy will present their Impact Investing activities on April 24. 2015. On April 25. 2015 we will welcome AngÃ©lica Rotondaro, Managing Director of the HSG Latin America Hub in Sao Paulo, Brazil and co-founder of Impact Investing Latin America at the University of St Gallen. AngÃ©lica will present her work in Latin America and we will discuss and reflect on the work and outcomes of this course.
