I belong to the current of humanism and management for 23 years. My interest in matters of this nature is the result of my experience in the corporate world where I worked before joining academia. In the latter I discovered that the theoretical knowledge and approaches in the classroom are limited, with a somewhat mechanical vision of the importance of people's dignity and opportunities to better develop their potential within successful of companies. This is why today I hold a university chair to study humanism and management of companies and propose models that can help management play a more constructive role in achieving a better quality of life in a comprehensive way.
