The Humanistic Management Center felt honored to be invited by Professor Naoki Kuriyama Dean of the Business School of Soka University to conduct a half day workshop in Geneva, Switzerland with a student group participating in Soka University's Global Program.
Soka University was founded in 1971 on the principles of a humanistic education and has been promoting international exchanges since its inception. Today it has one of the most active exchange programs in Japan being part of an international network that includes 135 universities in 46 countries.
The topic of the 2014 European Study Program was Global Corporate Citizenship and the Next Stage with the International Community. Aligned to the program theme the afternoon commenced with a lecture on the Humanistic Management Center's three stepped approach to humanistic management followed by a Q&A session. Next, three student groups presented case examples in Humanistic Management from Japan which were subsequently discussed.
The Humanistic Management Center is grateful for this opportunity to nourish intercultural dialogue and is much looking forward to continuing this fruitful relationship.
